Description

The Adezz Carrez with wheels planter is the most popular and versatile planter of Adezz’s collection. This planter’s clean lines and sharp corners look as at home in a contemporary garden as they do surrounded by loose grasses and the sleek, double-turned edge gives it a sturdy appearance. The Adezz Carrez with wheels planter is available as a Corten steel planter, Aluminium planter, and Fibreglass planter. This Adezz planter with wheels is available in a range of sizes making it perfect for almost any garden space. This planter is available as a square planter or garden trough has recessed wheels, and a solid base with drainage holes that can be left outside all year round without damage, even in freezing temperatures.

Adezz Carrez with wheels specifications:

  • 5-year guarantee.
  • Adezz planters are very robust, hard-wearing, weatherproof, low-maintenance and durable.
  • The planter has hidden feet and drainage holes. This allows it to float a little above the ground (15 mm) and provides optimal drainage.
  • Corten steel planters have a thickness of 2mm.
  • Aluminium planters have a thickness of 3mm.
  • Fibreglass planters are reinforced to the corners for extra strength.
  • Corten products are delivered without rust. The corten steel rusting process takes about 4-5 months, depending on weather conditions.
  • The rust can be fixed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating rust inhibitor that forms a protective anti-rust coating. Owatrol protects the planter and stops the rust on corten steel flaking off.

Key points of interest:

  • Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to release any moisture trapped inside the packaging. If the product is left in its packaging, it may develop uneven patches across all models.
  • Ensure proper drainage in aluminium and fibreglass planters by installing provided overflow pipes.
  • For the corten planters, do not use an overflow pipe; no excess water should remain in the corten steel planter. This can cause the metal to corrode due to the interaction of oxygen and soil.
  • For the fibreglass models, the base has circles for drilling. These circles are connected by a drainage channel. After drilling the drainage holes, install the overflow pipe. This will ensure that no excess water remains in the planter.
  • Do not use hydro pellets in corten planters: they retain moisture.
  • We do not recommend using corten steel within 2 km of a coastline.
  • The weathering process may cause rust run-off initially that can stain surfaces.
  • Clean fibrelass planters at least twice a year with our ADEZZ cleaner/protector. Do not use a pressure washer and/or scouring pad as this damages the coating. Corten planters require just an annual rinse with a hose, and aluminium planters can be cleaned with detergent and a soft cloth or sponge.
  • Available in a range of sizes, square or rectangle garden trough.

Planting advice:

  • Cover the bottom of the planter with a layer of gravel (approx. 10 cm, Ø35 mm grading).
  • Place a permeable anti-root membrane over the gravel.
  • Cover the membrane with soil suitable for your chosen plants.
  • The guarantee expires if you drill or grind in a way that is not specified.
  • Garden trough.
